How to differentiate between three types of dural lesions

Grey shadow = CSF space which is present between dura and edge of the spinal cord(between double line and black line).White shadow=Spinal cord with black lines representing its limits.External double lines = Dura

Image c:  Epidural lesion, look to the column of CSF near the lesion, you will find it narrowed with compression of the cord.

Image b: Sub dural lesion, look to the CSF column near the lesion, you will find it widened with compression of the cord.

Image a: Intra medullary lesion, look to the CSF column near the lesion, you will find it narrowed with expansion of the cord.
