1-Spinal canal is a bony structure, so it should be evaluated by bone window of the spines.
2-How you can measure it, by measuring the distance between the anterior and posterior walls of the canal.
3-Normal dimension of the spinal canal is 13 mm.
4-Below this number, spinal canal should be considered stenosed.
