1- Means smooth brain.
2-If no gyri---Agyria.
3-If there is thick, broad and few in number gyria ---Pachgyria.
4-If the gyri are thin and increased in number---Polymicrogyria.
5-Sylvian fissure is very short and vertically oriented giving appearance of figure of eight or hour glass configuration.
